BLS Basic Life Support – Proficient Training

BLS (Basic Life Support) is a certification program designed primarily for healthcare providers, first responders, and others who ay need to perform lifesaving interventions in medical emergencies. It teaches critical skills for managing cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and choking in adults, children and infants. It’s more advanced than a standard CPR class because it prepares participants to work in hospital and pre-hospital settings where teamwork and advanced emergency response are expected.

It is a prerequisite for Medical Faculties and Schools in Manitoba and other Provinces, and for paramedic courses such as ACLS and PALS.
