AEC Aquatic Emergency Care – Proficient Training

Aquatic Emergency Care (AEC) is Standard First Aid plus a few additional rescue response skills related to water rescue. It meets the requirements of Manitoba Workplace and Safety for First Aider 2, and is an excellent choice for facilities which have a pool for their guests such as spas, hotels and apartment blocks.

Having someone take AEC is NOT a substitute for having a trained lifeguard on duty. Lifeguards need to have a current National Lifeguard certification.

This course is delivered as needed. We can arrange to have it done at your facility or elsewhere. Minimum class size is 6 and maximum class size is 12. The class is delivered over two days and can be done at your facility. Please contact us to set up your course.
